WebPhotoStudio includes 2 separate interfaces:\n\n - A traditional painting program\n - A Wizard-based interface \n\nYou can switch between interfaces with ease, and your \nImages and Undo/Redo history are transferred between interfaces.
Use the powerful Painting interface to:\n\n - Create images from scratch\n - Draw complex brush strokes\n - Add text and objects to your images.
Use the Wizards interface for fast access to common tasks and apply effects to existing images.\n\nYou can also import images from any source into the Wizards interface.
Enabling or disabling rulers affects the display of ALL open images.
Use the Trim Image facility to minimize the size of web images.
When enlarging or reducing the size of a selection, the centre point of the resized selection will be the same as the centre point of the old selection.
Performing a new operation on an image will clear the contents of the "Undo" & Redo lists.
Use the "Context-sensitive Help" to find out more about a specific area of the program.
For best results, use the Painting tools on images with a 24-bit colour depth.
The Command History shows all actions that have been performed on an image.\n\nUse this option to undo and redo multiple actions.
You can use WebPhotoStudio to send emails directly, with picture attachments, without the need for any other software!
Use the Save For Web dialog to alter the space an image takes up on disk - an important consideration for Web pages, as larger images take longer to load.
JPEG gives the best compression for Photographic images, but simpler images like logos or drawings that use a small number of colours may be better compressed using the GIF format.
Once your Email mail server has been configured, click on the Save Details button to force WebPhotoStudio to remember your Email settings.

To change the printed size of an image, change the image resolution rather than adding/removing pixels when resizing images.\n\nThis prevents loss of details and features from the image.
Rotating an image by a small amount can straighten images scanned at a slight angle.
You can create your own custom Picture Frames. Any additional frames that you define will be saved for future sessions.
Set your own Custom Colours for regular use in the Colour Chooser. \n\nThis saves you having to find that colour using the main display or entering the RGB/HSL values each time you need it.

Convert Text and Object Layers into Bitmap Layers to allow special effects or colour manipulations to be applied.

There is no need to wait for an image preview to finish loading - double-click on the filename to load an image quickly.
Radial gradients are excellent for creating spherical looking objects:\n\n - Create a circular selection\n - Then use the Flood Fill tool inside the selection
Why not create your own custom textures in addition to those supplied within WebPhotoStudio.\n\nJust place images in the "Textures" directory, and they will be available.
If the loading of a file fails whilst loading multiple files, an error message will be displayed.\n\nClick OK to continue loading the remaining files.
Rulers enable you to accurately position the mouse pointer more quickly than was otherwise possible.
When adding borders to an image, placing the border outside the image edges will prevent loss of detail from the edges of the original image.

When using the Email facility, thumbnails of all open images allow easy selection of pictures to attach to your emails.

Changing the angle for a conical gradient rotates the cone around which the gradient has been wrapped.
Once a custom Picture Frame has been created, it can also be edited and deleted.
The Email facility has a full-featured address book to store complete contact details for all of your friends and relatives.
When reducing the number of colours in an image, use the "Nearest Colour" option to produce good results for simpler images.
