Jazz3D Brings Interactive 3D Graphics to Web Pages.
Reading, Berkshire - April 3, 2000 - SyGem Software launches
the latest version of their 3D rendering API for Java. A
"no plugin" solution, Jazz3D promises interactive 3D web content
with minimal effort.
Jazz3D has been designed with novice programmers in mind,
allowing users with just a very basic knowledge of Java can
create complex 3D worlds without worrying about the implementation.
Designers can now spend more time making worlds that look and
feel just right.
Unlike Java3D from Sun Microsystems, Jazz3D is able to run on ANY
Java Virtual Machine, making it a true cross-platform solution.
Applets written on a PC will also run on an iMac, Linux box or any
other OS supporting Java. Jazz3D is also able to run in the web
browser of your choice.
A highly optimized rendering core provides the world designer with
quality texture-mapping in real-time. Support is also included for
hierarchical objects, fogging, 3D object loading and image
post-processing. Every feature of Jazz3D is immediately accessible,
even for programmers with no experience of 3D graphics.
A demo version is now available for download from SyGem's website,
along with screenshots of Jazz3D in action and on-line demos. The
full product can also be purchased here, costing $30. Corporate
licences are also available. Unlimited email support is available
for registered users.
